Our Experience Working with Richard Frankel and Chatwin

As the Sole Director of Chatwith.io Soluciones SL, a Spanish company specialized in WhatsApp CRM solutions for the B2B market, I want to share transparently our experience with Richard Frankel and the Italian consultancy Chatwin during our consulting relationship in 2022–2023.

Richard Frankel was involved in the initial conversations with Chatwin during a few weeks on behalf of Chatwin. After what was a clear understanding, the engagement was based on the Consulting Agreement signed in August 2022, which included a fixed monthly fee of €15,000 for services aimed at supporting our expansion into the Italian market through introductions to key partners and potential clients.

While some contacts and meetings were facilitated, the overall results — in terms of closed clients and measurable revenue generation — remained limited relative to the significant fixed investment required over the period. Less than 1,000€ generated with a 100,000€ investment.

In our experience, the relationship management approach was structured primarily around securing the fixed monthly compensation, while the delivery of concrete, revenue-generating outcomes for the client proved challenging to achieve in practice.

I share this perspective as a former client so that other companies evaluating similar business development or consulting services in Italy can have additional information when assessing potential partners. It is important to carefully review compensation models (especially high fixed fees), define clear and measurable KPIs from the outset, and request verifiable references with documented revenue impact before entering into long-term engagements.
